CoolSculpting is a new non-invasive procedure that targets the fat and kills the cells without harming the surrounding layers of skin.
It is akin to liposuction but more strategic. Instead of targeting a wide area, this procedure targets specific locations where subcutaneous fat are found and kills them using cold.

CoolSculpting is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure developed by Zeltiq Aesthetics, Inc. It’s a new process that removes fat by freezing it.
The cooling process kills the subcutaneous fat cells just under the skin while leaving the skin totally unharmed. This is possible because fat freezes at a much higher temperature than skin so while the temperature is brought down to where the fat gets frozen the rest of the targeted area remains totally fine.
